More houses than households - huh?

That may come as news to many people but its actually the case.The increase in the number of houses has exceeded the increase in the number of households.

There are lots of things in Britain that aren’t going well, but the amount of market housing supply isn’t one of them. Census shows +1.4m households but +2m dwellings over the decade to 2021.
